- This is a wide-area disaster prevention base in Kyushu, where the Disaster Prevention and Fire Fighting Aviation Center and the Police Air Force Base are combined. The wooden structures of the fire-fighting and prefectural police hangars and the briefing room are stacked on top of the reinforced concrete structures of the maintenance material storeroom and office. Small-diameter (120 mm square) cedar truss beams with a span of about 20 m span span over each hangar.
