NAGOYA CASTLE TOWER WOODEN RESTORATION PROJECT

Outline
This is a project to restore the castle tower, which was completed in 1612 and rebuilt in 1959 using reinforced concrete after being destroyed by fire in an air raid in 1945, using wood. The restoration is based on the period from the Great Horeki Repairs (1752) to the destruction by fire in an air raid, and a wooden restoration faithful to the historical facts is underway based on existing materials. All architectural information is converted to BIM, and the member data of the BIM model is planned to be processed by NC machines.
