- This bus waiting area stands at the intersection connecting the lakeside road of Lake Yamanaka with the main road from outside the village. It is part of a community development project conducted by the Yamanakako Village Design Strategy Council, which consists of the Yamanakako Village Office and spatial design specialists. In addition to the bus waiting area, a multipurpose facility in a renovated old house was built on the north side, and a plaza for local festivals was built on the south side.
