- This three-story, 120-meter-long station building is directly connected to the north exit of JR Tokuyama Station. The station building was rebuilt to connect to the north-south free passageway, which was constructed in 2014 as part of the station area development project to revitalize the city center. The building houses a library, bookstores, and cafes. The building has a large terrace stretching out toward the station square (under construction, scheduled for completion in 2019). The building is operated by Culture Convenience Club (CCC).
