STORE HOUSE REMAINED AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE

Tomioka Town, Futaba County, Fukushima Prefecture - The owner's house used to be located in the west side of the town, where materials from Tomioka Forest were sawn and used as building materials. Only the warehouse was left after the tsunami. The core of the lumber cut from the mountain was used mainly for the structure of the building, and some of the sapwood and thick boards were used to rebuild the warehouse.
