- Kokubunji City, Tokyo - A one-minute walk from the north exit of Kokubunji Station, the building is located in an area lined with shops and condominiums. This is the head office building of Flavor Life, a company that sells natural aromatic oils. The top four floors of the seven-story steel-framed building are constructed of wood hybrid glued laminated timber, and the bottom three floors are covered with a general coating that is two hours fireproof (the third floor is three hours fireproof). The structure is steel-framed, but the building is "made of wood" in a dense urban environment.
