Outline: This is a disaster prevention park and multifunctional complex facility built on the site of a former fruit and vegetable market adjacent to Mitaka City Hall. A sports center is located in the basement of the park, and the "Genki Souzou Plaza" on the west side of the park houses a general health center, a lifelong learning center and other facilities related to the health and welfare of citizens, as well as a comprehensive disaster prevention center. The Disaster Prevention Center is located in the west side of the park. The park was constructed under the Disaster Prevention Park District Development Project of the Urban Renaissance Agency, and its function as a regional disaster prevention center has been strengthened.
