KOWA PUBLIC APARTMENT COMPLEX IN MIHAMA

Outline
This project is for the reconstruction of a town-owned housing complex along the coast, where 10 housing complexes have been built. 3 of the older buildings were demolished and rebuilt, and 10 one-story dwelling units were constructed. Each dwelling has deep eaves and verandahs, creating an open interior space and a continuous relationship with the exterior common areas and neighboring dwellings. It is a place that proposes livability for family households with an awareness of the connection between residents.
