SPATIAL DESIGN STUDIO

Outline: This eight-unit apartment building is located in a residential area of Setagaya-ku, Tokyo. Three dwelling units on each floor are arranged at different angles on a slab that follows the shape of the site, creating a common area with a different expression for each layer. Each dwelling consists of a rectangular room with reinforced concrete walls as the core, and surrounding steel-framed walls that create a layered space.
