SHIMIZU MONOZUKURI TRAINING CENTER

Outline
The new building was constructed on the premises of Shimizu Corporation's Tokyo Wood Works to provide training for the company's young engineering staff. The steel-framed space, with a ceiling height of approximately 9 meters, houses full-scale mock-ups of steel bars (formwork), steel frames, and precast concrete. With the concept of "see, touch, try," the building is a space where employees can learn by actually working with their hands.
