KASUGATAISHA MUSEUM

The National Treasure Hall is seen from the south side. The Kasuga Taisha National Treasure Hall is a renewal of the "Treasure Hall" designed by Taniguchi Yoshiro in 1973. The renovation was carried out in conjunction with the annual reconstruction of Kasuga-taisha Shrine, and in addition to the Treasure Hall, the exterior of the building was improved, and a bus stop and toilets were newly installed. The first floor, which is on a high floor, has been made transparent, and earthquake-resistant walls have been placed in accordance with the new exhibition flow line, and a new hall has been built to connect the existing H-shaped plan.
