LEMON HOTEL
MICHIKO OKANO ARCHITECTS
- Outline
- This hotel is a renovation of a private house in the village of Teshima in the Seto Inland Sea. While making use of the existing materials and scale, the transparent volume and fabric create a small heterogeneity. It is operated by a company that proposes general lifestyles centered on restaurants, and offers art experiences to visitors to the island during the day, while accepting one group of guests per day as a hotel at night.
