Outline
As part of a public-private partnership, a taxi stand and express bus facilities were built above the railroad tracks on the south side of the station in conjunction with the replacement of National Route 20 (Shinjuku Overpass), which borders the south exit of Shinjuku Station, and a 170-meter-high complex building was constructed on the site of the former New South Exit Station.
