- Yoshii-cho, Sasebo City, where the site is located, is an area with a population of about 6,000 people, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery with the Sasagawa River, a second class river, running through the center of the town. The playroom, which consists of a series of gate-shaped frames made of laminated cedar with a span of 8 m and a ceiling height of 5 m, is intended to be used as an integral part of the school garden.
