HIGASHI-SHINJUKU TERRACE

Outline
This three-story wooden housing complex stands on a site at the end of a small alley. The buildings are arranged to surround a courtyard on the south side, and light and wind are let in through the gaps between the buildings. The entrances and openings are located mainly on the courtyard side, so that the residents can utilize the units and the courtyard in an integrated manner. In the open space, there is a mailbox and a steel bench in addition to plants.
