Outline: We renovated a 39-year-old, eight-unit wooden apartment building in Adachi-ku, Tokyo, into six units, a shared office, and a shared space with a kitchen and lounge. A vegetable garden shared by the residents has been installed on the premises. In addition, a rental farm called "Ikou Farm" has been set up on the owner's property about 1.4 km away, encouraging residents to interact with each other and with the local community through "farming.
