BETWEEN NATSUMEZAKA

Outline
This project consists of an owner-occupied unit at the top and two rental units at the bottom, built on the hillside of Natsumezaka (the slope where Soseki Natsume's parents lived). As exactly half of the site falls within the scope of the city planning road, a cubic frame was constructed so that it could be demolished in the future. By inserting floors at various heights into the frame, a place for people to live is created.
