- This is a highly functional firefighting command facility consisting of the Soma Regional Fire Headquarters and the Minamisoma Fire Station. The building is a three-story steel-frame structure. An organic spiral slope connects each floor with a central three-story atrium. The walls facing the atrium are used for exhibitions related to the Great East Japan Earthquake.
