Outline: This project is to reconstruct a private kindergarten in Misato City, Saitama Prefecture. In order to realize the educational philosophy that children learn through play and have spontaneity, we aimed to develop the playground throughout the site so as to induce various experiences and play. The playroom is located in the center of the building, and the classrooms are arranged around it. A mountainous load-bearing wall with an opening at the top creates a sense of layering between the playground, nursery, and playroom.
