- The center was built with the full support of JIA Tohoku to support orphans of the Great East Japan Earthquake, to care for children in need of social care, and to provide professional support. The center consists of a center house (including a multipurpose hall, a village headman's house, and an assistant's house) that serves as the town hall (core facility), and three family houses where children live with their nurturing parents.
