- This project consists of two three-storied reinforced concrete buildings and a one-storied wooden assembly hall. 42 units were constructed in Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture, for victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake. Each building is arranged around a courtyard, and each dwelling is approached through the courtyard. The courtyard is also used for events, etc., and serves as a place for residents and neighbors to interact.
