This public building is a university and auditorium for music, dance, and performing arts located on the southern edge of the small city of Aix-en-Provence (Aix) in southern France. An aluminum skin is used on the exterior to cover a variety of environmental devices such as solar radiation and ventilation, and the L-shaped space is integrated as a single building. The auditorium is open to the public, making it a facility open to the city.
