FUKUTOKU SHRINE

Outline
Revitalization of a shrine with a history of more than 1,000 years since the Jogan era. With the completion of the shrine, the Nihonbashi Muromachi East District (1404), part of the Nihonbashi Revitalization Project, was completed. The torii gate is located at the ice-top of Chuo-dori Avenue facing the Mitsui Main Building and other buildings. Because fire regulations prevent the construction of wooden buildings, the structure is steel-framed, but traditional joints and joints are used to make it look like a traditional wooden structure. The building is constructed using traditional wooden techniques.
