RESIDENTIAL HOME FOR THE ELDERLY NAGAHAMA
MOO ARCHITECT WORKSHOP
- Outline
- This project is a renovation of a nursing home into a new two-story wooden residential building and an existing building into a day service center and community exchange space. In the residential building, the plan is designed in a flying geese shape so as not to give the impression of a large facility, and the texture and layout of the wood are carefully considered. The colors, smells, textures, and sounds of the wood cover the space, creating a place where users and staff can spend time calmly.
