TAKENAKA CARPENTRY TOOLS MUSEUM

Outline
This project is to reconstruct the Takenaka Carpenter's Tool Museum, which collects, preserves, studies and exhibits carpenter's tools as an ethnic heritage. In order to solve the aging of the current facility and the lack of exhibition space, the museum was relocated and renovated on land at the foot of Mount Rokko near Shin-Kobe Station, where the company's head office was located in the Taisho era. This is a museum where you can feel the many techniques of the artisans.
