SHONAN HARBOR YACHT HOUSE

Outline
This is a reconstruction of the yachting competition venue (designed by Yoshiro Taniguchi and Mizuki Yamada, 6410), which was built for the 1968 Tokyo Olympics. The 2000m2 single-piece roof was designed to resemble waves. The roof has seven "open beam" high-sided lights, which function as tension beams by arranging bundles inside the openings.
