- This is a model project to improve the housing stock of JKK Tokyo at the time of the reconstruction of Karasuyama Housing. 4-storey staircase-type housing units constructed in the 1950s were refinished into 8 general housing units and 15 housing units for the elderly with services. Various plans are being considered, such as making the building barrier-free, installing new exterior corridors and entrances, renovating the interior by installing equipment and structural walls, internalizing existing stairwells, and converting multiple dwelling units into one unit.
