JUNTENDO HOSPITAL BUILDING B

Outline
As part of the campus hospital reorganization project commemorating Juntendo's 175th anniversary, the aging building was reconstructed. We are collaborating with Shimizu Corporation and Waseda University. The aim is to create an "eco-campus and eco-hospital" that is comfortable, safe, and environmentally friendly. Since the construction will be carried out while the hospital is still in operation, the construction period will be divided and the existing wards will be rebuilt while being used. Phase I, the high-rise wing, has been completed, and Phase II, the low-rise wing, is scheduled for completion in April 2016. The 21-story, 99.72-meter-high high-rise building will house the hospital wards, and the low-rise building will house the operating rooms, intensive care units, and other medical departments.
