REGENERATION OF TAIWAN TAOYUAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TERMINAL 1

Outline
Renovation of the airport designed by T.Y. Lin in 1979. The designer was selected through a competition. The number of passengers was supposed to be 5 million a year at the time of construction, but it was required to increase to 15 million while in use. This was made possible by not constructing a new floor and by internalizing an area that had been external.
