DISASTER RELIEF STUDIO AT KYOTO UNIVERSITY OF ART AND DESIGN

Outline
A temporary studio made of paper tube arches on the roof of the building of Kyoto University of Art and Design. It was constructed by students of Shigeru Ban Laboratory. Steel joints are fixed at both ends, and a steel rod with post-tensioning is used to pull the paper tube.
