- This is a plan for the relocation of Yūai Hospital, located in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, to Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka Prefecture. It is a new style of urban complex building that incorporates the concept of CCRC in the U.S. by adding a new fee-based nursing home to the existing hospital and geriatric healthcare facility. The building is designed with consideration for the local community in mind, including a three-story atrium pilotis facing the main street.
