Public toilets built on Ibuki Island for the Setouchi Art Festival 2013. It was built on the site of the closed Ibuki Elementary School. The slits are located at the solar azimuth of 9:00 a.m. on the summer solstice and winter solstice of Ibukijima, the traditional summer festival (July 15), and the island's Shikoku Day (the average day of March 21 on the lunar calendar), superimposing the island's unique time and connection to the world.
