PILLAR HOUSE

Full-scale models displayed at the "Arts&Life: A House for Living" exhibition held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. Thirty-nine entries were selected from among the public entries in a competition format, and 1/20 scale models were exhibited. A full-scale model of the Grand Prize winning work by Sako Yamada was made for the museum. Eleven columns, each with a different inclination, are connected by a diagonal or horizontal floor.
