HOME-FOR-ALL FOR KAMAISHI SHOPPING STREET

Outline
A meeting hall in the center of Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture, which was damaged by the tsunami following the Great East Japan Earthquake. It is a steel-frame structure with a wooden gable roof. The structure can be constructed at low cost and is easy to dismantle and relocate. Many of the construction materials were sponsored by companies.
