COTTAGES UNDER ONE LARGE TRIANGULAR ROOF/LE ALI SHIMIZU

Outline
This cottage was built in a sports park. The long and narrow triangular plan is divided into two buildings in accordance with the long and narrow site. The elongated planes are divided to create interior and semi-exterior spaces. Due to the gentle roof slope and triangular plan, every room has a different shape. The building was constructed by local craftsmen using locally grown cedar wood. The carpenters and construction workers keep a small amount of dried wood for the openings, and the local supply and demand are coordinated.
