AKISHIMA SUMIRE KINDERGARTEN
MITSURU SENDA + ENVIRONMENT DESIGN INSTITUTE
- Outline
- The kindergarten was reconstructed due to its aging. The nursery rooms are clustered close together in separate buildings. The second floor of the outdoor corridor connecting each building is a place where children can take walks and engage in class activities while looking into the nursery rooms. The rooftop green lawn also serves as a playground. Two-story wooden (partially steel-frame) building.
