AFTER SCHOOL DAY-CARE CENTER, MINAMIKESENNUMA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

One of the kindergarten and nursery school reconstruction projects supported by the Japan Committee for UNICEF. This is a reconstruction of a schoolchild nursery school built on the grounds of Minami Kesennuma Elementary School in Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture. Damaged pine trees were made into 30 mm thick boards and used for the exterior walls.
