MIT JAPAN 3/11 INITIATIVE PROJECT TEAM

- This project is a collaboration of three universities: MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Keio University Graduate School, and Miyagi University. The tables and benches that had been placed in Heisei-no-mori for residents to use when they gather together are now covered with a polycarbonate roof to protect them from rain and snow, and solar panels and a 4 x 4 meter deck are installed in three days.
