SHIZUGAWA BANYA PROJECT

Outline
A hut built on the coast of Shizugawa fishing port for local fishermen to meet and work. It was built in a short period of one month from planning to completion by university faculty, students, and local fishermen. The lumber used was provided by a construction company in Kakomo Village, Gifu Prefecture. The pre-cut lumber was transported by truck. This is a temporary building with a scheduled installation period of two years.
