Outline: This project was designed to rebuild the old No.2 Building due to its insufficient seismic strength and the establishment of new faculties and departments. The New Building No. 2 was designed by Mr. Horikoshi and Shibaura Institute of Technology architecture students in collaboration with Nippon Sekkei. The new building is located along the zelkova trees that form the main flow line of the campus, and includes a pilotis and staggered lounges that create a place for students to relax.
