SLIDING DOOR BUILDING

Outline
A three-story house and shop in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, with a shop on the first floor, a guest room on the second floor, and a bedroom and dining room on the third floor. The south and west sides facing the road and the four corners are movable sashes. The horizontal load is borne by the earthquake-resistant core in the central atrium, while the vertical load is borne by the steel columns on the periphery, enhancing the openness of the building.
