HIROSHI SENJU MUSEUM KARUIZAWA

Outline
This museum houses and exhibits approximately 100 works created by artist Senju Hiroshi between 1978 and 2011. The museum was designed in response to Senju's request for a "bright and open museum that has never existed before," with natural light coming in from four courtyards. UV-cut glass is used, and a gently sloping floor connects the site, which has a height difference of about 3.5 meters.
