- Renovation of a unit in a 30-year-old apartment building in Meguro-ku, Tokyo. Walls are removed and new boxes are built. The box houses storage and utilities, and gently divides the one-room unit. The box is installed on top of the flooring in anticipation of changes in the floor plan. The existing beams were finished with a thin coat of mortar.
