KYUSYU HISTORICAL MUSEUM

Outline
View from the Misawa Site, a Yayoi Period settlement site. The structure consists of a series of low-rise hipped roofs. The building functions as a research and storage facility for buried artifacts from the Kyushu region and as a hands-on museum. The plan is in the form of a corridor surrounding a courtyard. The ceiling and eaves are made of high-precision half-PC and extend into the courtyard.
