ATELIER AND I， KAZUNARI SAKAMOTO ARCHITECTURAL LABORATORY
Outline
Reconstruction of a public elementary school in Udo City, Kumamoto Prefecture. The building was selected in the proposal competition of the Kumamoto Art Police Project. A vaulted roof is erected over each unit of space, and the vaults are staggered in order to provide light and ventilation. The building is a two-story, cast-in-place reinforced concrete structure.
