RESEARCH ON RENOVATION PROJECT IN UR MUKOGAOKA HOUSING

Outline
The project is one of the Renaissance Project 1, in which renovation technologies are tested using residential buildings scheduled for demolition. The target buildings are three buildings (No. 26, No. 27, and No. 28) in the Mukogaoka No. 1 Housing Complex in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, which was first managed in 1960, just after the establishment of the Japan Housing Corporation. In addition to the renovation of the structural frameworks, a proposal is made for the regeneration of the housing complex and community environment by reorganizing the floor plans.
