EISU CLUB HAKONE

Outline
This is a one-story wooden recreation and training center in the mountains of Hakone. The main building has a tea ceremony room, an itanoma, and a private room. The roofs have a variety of expressions, such as a slightly raised copper-plate flat roof and an eight-inch-slope teppei stone roof. The floor is raised 960 mm to 1,500 mm above the ground to create comfort in the harsh natural environment of Hakone. A soil thermal storage radiant floor heating system using late-night electricity is installed under the floor.
