The Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe is located on the Kashiwa Campus of the University of Tokyo. On the third floor is a large space called the Fujiwara Piazza, which resembles an urban plaza. The laboratories are arranged in a spiral pattern around this plaza.
