The site is adjacent to the Kyoto Imperial Palace across Karasuma Street. The renovation of the store, which also serves as the entrance to the Kyoto branch to the west. The building is 40m long and narrow, facing the street. The exterior walls are red cedar louvers, ceramic tiles and galvalume.
