KOCHI STATION

Outline
The existing station building was elevated in stages, and a large roof with a mixed structure of prefectural cedar laminated wood and steel trusses was erected. At the foot of the roof (at the north entrance), a steel-framed reinforced concrete canopy was erected from the road site to support the platform and the structure. The north-south free passageway was realized, and the north-south station square was developed together.
